In addition to the boat’s amenities, your BC fishing trip includes lifejackets, fishing rods, tackle, bait, fuel, drinking water, and we take care of cleaning and bagging your catch.
If you wish to have your fish processed (e.g. filleted, steaked, smoked, or canned) we can refer you to licenced seafood processors. These processors are also able to package and ship your catch.

Clothing. Bring warm, layered clothing to protect you from the sun or the rain as needed. A hat, sunglasses and sunscreen are also essentials. We can provide some rain gear, but for your comfort we suggest you bring your own if possible. If you’re unable to bring appropriate clothing, please contact us ahead of time so we can make sure you’re taken care of.
Food and Drink. Please bring lunch, snacks and drinks appropriate to keep you comfortable and hydrated for the duration of your salmon fishing trip. We do keep water on board, so you may wish to bring a refillable water bottle.
Motion Sickness. If you’re concerned you may become seasick, please plan accordingly. Several remedies are available at most pharmacies, including Gravol and transdermal patches.
Fishing Licence. Each angler will need to purchase a Tidal Waters Sport Fishing Licence on their BC fishing trip and bring that licence with them. The cost varies depending on your age, where you reside, and the time period covered by the licence. You have to carry a paper copy of your licence with you while fishing, and must record your catch of certain species.
The easiest way to get a licence for Campbell River, BC fishing is to purchase it online here and print it out. If you wish to keep any species of salmon, you also have to purchase a Salmon Conservation Stamp with your licence– don’t forget this part.
