My hubby and I did his bucket list salmon fishing trip – it was phenomenal! Fishing was incredible and I knew I would be comfy on board even if the fishing gods weren’t on our side. Outsider Charters has a toilet on the boat, aluminium hard top and heater inside the cab to keep you warm just in case it’s raining at Campbell River. Plus lots of space and ice in the cooler to keep your refreshments chilled. Happy to read and see they had COVID protocols. We caught our limit, enjoyed the scenery and watching the seals and sea lions, Chris was easy to chat with and it was a great way to enjoy Beautiful British Columbia.

Chris was a fantastic guide! He was super knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. I highly recommend his tours.

Chris is the man to see if you want a charter that gives you an experience to remember for all the right reasons. Good fishing, good sightseeing, and good company. Thank You I will be coming back.

A great day out with Chris and Outside Charters. Orcas, eagles, dolphins and fish! Chris worked hard to find the fish and he delivered a hard fighting 77 cm chinook on a day when the fish were elusive. A beautiful, well outfitted boat in pristine condition. Thanks Chris. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you. We’ll be back!

Chris is an amazing host, extremely accommodating and incredibly friendly. Very easy going and is able to offer excellent coaching while newer anglers are on deck. We will be coming back!

Great time, lots of laughs! Best part of the trip was the atmosphere. Chris made you feel at home the minute you stepped onto the boat. He included you in decisions, and explained everything he was doing. I would highly recommend going out with him, I know I will be back!

These last couple days out on the water were nothing short of eventful. My first time ever fishing on the ocean did not disappoint! Chris was wonderful, did an amazing job of teaching me exactly what to do when I really had no idea . . . Thank you for such a wonderful weekend filled with lots of laughs and lots of fish! What an amazing day on the ocean! Our guide Chris was extremely competent at finding salmon and coaching us on how to reel them in. Boat is comfortable and clean, equipment is state-of-the-art and the fishing day was both successful and highly enjoyable. Even had time to see some local wildlife as we explored different fishing areas. I strongly recommend Outsider Charters and Captain Chris for any fishing group.

Chris was very friendly and was helpful in getting our boys set up properly to catch fish. He wanted all of us to experience the thrill of the catch, which we did! His boat was extremely clean and there was room for all four us. We will definitely be back!! It was an amazing experience.
