Excellent Charter. Chris was a great guide and host and definitely wanted us to enjoy the fishing experience. His boat was very clean and well equipped. Chris was very knowledgeable on where and how to fish and catered to me being a novice, his patience and friendly demeanor was amazing. Both my husband and I can’t say enough great things about what an amazing experience we had. It was such an enjoyable afternoon and we will definitely come back . . .
We had the absolute best time catching salmon with the fellow who runs this charter. He was professional yet engaging and was the best teacher and genuinely tried his best for us to have a successful and fun fishing trip. Highly recommend this charter for your fishing needs, we will most definitely be back next year
Great day on the water today. Chris runs a first class operation. He runs a new NWAC boat equipped with very good reels, rods, riggers and motors. The boat is solid, steady and comfortable. He will work an area hard, then be willing to move on, or change gear if no action after a while. He communicates well. No surprises. His concern about angler safety is present right from the start . . . I have fished with many guides over the past 20+ years in the PNW and would definitely recommend Chris.
What a blast. Captain was super knowledgable about fishing . . . it was clear he was focused on making sure the group had a good time. Boat was perfect for a group, lots of space to spread out and a good mix of inside and outside space. I’ve done several fishing charters in the past, and this was by far the best.
We had an amazing day on the water. Chris was punctual and prepared for a day of fishing. He had checked weather, wind and current patterns for the day which provided optimal conditions. The boat was clean and comfortable. Chris is a knowledgeable and hardworking guide . . . If I’m ever in the area again I’ll be giving Chris a call.
First fishing charter we have been on, Chris was AMAZING, to say the least. He is very informational, and knows his stuff! It was a great time being out on the water with him, even if we got stuck in that squall, he was concerned for our safety and acting accordingly to get us out of the elements! I know who I’ll be fishing with again, what a great guy!
Wow, what a day! Been trying to catch a salmon since I moved to the northwest over 40 years ago. Chris made it happen, & talked me through bringing it in & on the boat; a 16 lb chinook. Chris’s expertise and soft spoken guidance made for a great day of fishing. Will definitely use Outsider Charters again.
