This was our second year fishing with Chris. It’s never a dull moment and something I look forward to every year now. Chris works his ass off in order to provide the best fishing experience possible. Already starting to plan for next year, I can’t say enough about Outsider Charters!

Cannot recommend booking with Chris enough! We had such a fantastic day out on the water. He was fantastic with both an experienced fisher as well as someone just learning. The boat had everything you would need for a comfortable day out fishing regardless of weather. We will definitely be booking back with him the next time we go to Campbell River!

Chris is the fishing boat captain…and he is fantastic! Good humoured, accommodating and proficient . . . you will find and catch fish on this charter! The boat is excellent! Wide and stable with a great fishing deck, there is room for a group to move and fight the salmon. The rigging and gear are top notch, you’d expect nothing less from a true enthusiast like Chris . . .

Thanks Chris for the great hospitality, guidance on how to reel-in and keep the catch, superb boating knowledge (felt totally safe), and gutted/cleaned the fish on our way out! From start to finish you do it all!!

A great day out with Chris and Outside Charters. Orcas, eagles, dolphins and fish! Chris worked hard to find the fish and he delivered a hard fighting 77 cm chinook on a day when the fish were elusive. A beautiful, well outfitted boat in pristine condition. Thanks Chris. Had a fantastic afternoon salmon fishing with Chris. Chris is a very personable person and is a very interesting person to talk to, and he knows a lot about fishing too. He helped us land a couple of massive ones. He is great with kids too! If you are looking to go fishing in Campbell River, I would recommend you hire Chris for a few hours.
