Outsider Charters Inc. is fully operational and taking bookings for the current season, from June through October 2020. We’ve also changed our deposit policy so you don’t have to be worried about trip cancellations due to COVID-19. Client and Community Safety
The health and safety of our clients and community is our top priority. The onset of COVID-19 has created an unconventional environment, one that’s required all of us to make life adjustments. As we come through Phase 2 of BC’s Restart Plan and move towards Phase 3, we’ve evaluated what we need to do to make sure our guests fully enjoy a Vancouver Island salmon fishing trip or an eco adventure tour, and stay safe at the same time.
WorksafeBC has reviewed the Sport Fishing Institute of BC’s recommendations for charter, guide and lodge operations. These recommendations may change as we receive additional guidance from the BC Provincial Health Officer, but they are suitable now for business operation locally. Thanks to SFIBC’s efforts, we have a framework that will allow us to get back to the business of providing our guests with one of the most unique and memorable experiences available.
Health & Safety Protocol
We’ve created a Health & Safety Protocol specific to our operations and in line with the orders and guidance set out by the BC Provincial Health Officer as well as the guidelines of the SFIBC. Our protocols are designed to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission and ensure the safest possible environment for our clients. We will change these protocols as we receive more information and guidance from the Provincial Health Officer.
We want our clients to know that we’re being vigilant. We’re paying attention to the needs of the communities that we belong to, and we’re paying attention to your individual needs.
